The NOVA is our most advanced attachment. Below we highlight what makes it so unique, safe, and competitive. Just click on the blue dots below, to learn more.

Ceramic, Anti-Heat Push Button

Insulated push button never gets hot, regardless of how fast or how long your bur spins.

Accu Chuck System

The specific shape of the NOVA plunger is adapted to the shape of the pliers. This shape allows a high opening force to be achieved with a short stroke. NOVA plunger is made of hardened, cryogenic stainless steel with PVD coating, which shows excellent wear resistance.

The PVD coating also reduces the sticking effect of the plunger in the pliers, avoiding the risk of bur blockage.

Light

Your High Speed Red and Low Speed Blue attachments both come with an LED light.

Cylcro® Gears

Cylcro® gears are less sensitive to positioning errors during assembling, which helps to reduce potential source of noise when the handpiece is working at the dental office.

Moreover, Cylcro® gear shows a friction length 2x shorter than previous generation gears, which increases resistance against premature wear, thus allowing for a 2x longer service lifetime (linear gain).

Anti-Retraction Vale

NOVA integrates a built-in anti-retraction system, preventing suck back of potentially contaminated biological fluids from the oral cavity into the handpiece, down to the electric motor.

Limiting the back flow of biological fluids is crucial to limit the risk of cross-contamination among patients.

Motors

MCX

The MCX is our entry level motor for restorative procedures, only.

MX2 PLUS

The MX2 plus is our most advanced and best selling motor with the highest torque.
BEST SELLER

MX-i Series

MX-i is our implantology only motor. MX-i Plus does implantology and all oral surgery procedures.

The Brains Behind the Operation

The MX2 Plus LED motor (aka the brains behind the operation) is our most powerful motor. Here’s some important information about it:

• Weight: 76 grams (1/16th of a lb.)

• Speed Range: 100 – 40,000 RPMs

• Torque: 3.5 N-cM

Thanks to the Smart Logic system, the torque is consistent regardless of the speed. This means your Bien-Air system will give you precise and constant power which results in better preps.

What is Torque and Why Does it Matter?

Click to learn more.

Torque = Cutting Power

At the most basic level, torque is about cutting power under a load. The more torque you have, the easier it is to cut through hard objects (e.g., enamel, zirconia, and etc.).

The graph showcases the cutting power of MX2 Plus Motor compared to other motors (click to enlarge). This means you’ll never worry about your attachment stalling out – regardless of your speed. If you look closely at the graph you’ll see the MX2 Plus is the only motor that has consistent torque, even at low speeds.

Even though (mathematically speaking) torque decreases as speed increases, your MX2 is so powerful, your attachment won’t stall. That means that even when you’re running your High Speed Red at the lowest speed, you’ll have more than enough torque available to complete your procedure.

The image above showcases actual torque across a range of speeds from 0 - 40,000 RPMs). Click on the image to enlarge.
